Cooper's Office Furniture - Moving a 64 Year Old Retailer

Business Need: To develop a campaign to help a leading downtown Toronto office furniture retailer make the physical move from one of Canada’s busiest retail streets where they were for over half a century to a location with much less street traffic and visibility.

What Up Marketing did: Up Marketing developed a fully integrated marketing plan that included: print, outdoor, web and radio  advertising; earned media, event marketing and signage design. Up Marketing designed, planned and executed the full campaign from concept to completion including the purchase of streetcar and outdoor locations that “connected” key commuter travel points, the old location and the new. The campaign combined conventional media with web-based weather monitoring tools, handbills and e-mail coupons to ensure that the whole market got the message.

The Result:  An unprecedented level of business-to-business and business-to-consumer awareness was generated for Coopers Office Furniture, who enjoyed a record sales quarter that spanned their move!
